The WHO (World Health Organization) Collaborating Centre for Radiation and Health operating at National Center for Radiation Protection and Computational Physics of the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) supports WHO activities on topics related to the protection from exposure to current and emerging ionizing and non-ionizing radiation technologies used for medical applications.
In this context it has been illustrated to WHO the EURAMET EMPIR 18HLT06 RaCHy Project – Radiotherapy Coupled with Hyperthermia with the possibility to be a stakeholder of the project.
Activities carried out in RaCHy project are relevant for WHO agenda of work and a link for updating and sharing results will be provided in the continuation of the project.
